AeroTopoL is the best featured and most innovative GIS based Mission-Planning and Flight-Management-System on the market. Beside full GIS functionality, it uses wizards to make it very user-friendly. AeroTopoL can import and export many vector and raster data formats. It can also combine many coordinate systems in one geodata window.
AeroTopoL supports any frame-based analogue or digital camera and calculates the accuracy of the project.
The rebuilt high-qualty avionic instruments enable high precise navigation. In real-time, AeroTopoL computes the image coverage using average terrain-height, flight-altitude, camera-parameters and the rotation angles. The main map window displays the footprints of the images as they are captured, showing the plane's position on a moving map during the mission. Analysis of the image overlaps is done automatically during the flight, resulting in a table of additional/missed images that are needed.
AeroTopoL supports full heading compensation of the camera at intervals of 1/10 second in combination with AeroStab-2 and a “Hold on Release” function. AeroTopoL records log files providing a detailed protocol of the mission as well as ready computed data for photogrammetric processing.
