Contour Maps

Contour maps of small areas can be economically produced from high resolution imagery. The contour intervals are a factor of the pixel size or ground sample distance. Accuracy is determined by the investment in ground control measurements with a surveying grade GPS station.

High resolution contour maps are useful in assessing risk of erosion, planning roads and farm layouts to maximise ease of management.

They are also useful in site planning for roads and property developments.

The stereo pairs captured in flight also enable the production of 3d imagery for project planning and community consultation.
