Using our RolleiMetric AIC and the IR lens, we can capture true near infra-red imagery. Only true IR imagery provides accurate results from subseqent analysis. False NIR does not have sufficient separation of visible and NIR bands. As a result, features in an image may be misclassified. For example, a green tennis court may show as vegetation. Camouflaged military vehicles may not be detected by false NIR.
